Dying Matters Week Bay of Plenty
Dying Matters Week connects people across Aotearoa to start conversations in a safe space, learn from local experts and seek support for later life, end-of-life planning and to navigate grief or loss.
Join us from Monday 7th to Sunday 13th September 2026 at local libraries and other community spaces in Tauranga and Rotorua.
Bay of Plenty event programmes are coordinated by Sarah Dewes from Te Atawhai Aroha – Compassionate Communities Rotorua and end-of-life doula, Gaylene Delaney (Tauranga) and Mel Auld from Ngā Pou Herenga in Whakatāne.
