Dying Matters Week connects people across Aotearoa to start conversations in a safe space, learn from local experts and seek support for later life, end-of-life planning and to navigate grief or loss.

Dying Matters Week 2026 will be held around New Zealand from Monday 7th to Sunday 13th September. As well as in-person events around the country, there will be a number of online events and podcasts which people can join and listen to from anywhere.
