Dying Matters Week connects people across Aotearoa to start conversations in a safe space, learn from local experts and seek support for later life, end-of-life planning and to navigate grief or loss.

2026 events will take place from Monday 7th to Sunday 13th September in Hastings and Napier. This Dying Matters Week is focused on empowering you to make informed and meaningful decisions about the future, for yourself and for those you care about.
