Collecting your personal information

We collect personal information from you in different places on the Go With Grace website.

On the contact page, we collect information about your:

  • name
  • contact information

We collect this information in order to contact you about your website enquiry.

In the Go With Grace Planning section of the website, we ask you a variety of questions around how you would like your funeral or final farewell to be conducted. We understand the sensitivities around keeping this information confidential and we have ensured that we keep each Go With Grace Plan safe by storing it in encrypted files and only allowing appropriate staff to access it.

In the Business Directory section of the website, we collect a variety of information about your business to display publicly on your Go With Grace business listing. Your account login details are encrypted so account access to be able to add to/edit your business listing is limited to yourself and appropriate staff.

Affiliate programs

When we link to products and services in the Go With Grace Resources Directory, those links may be affiliate links. If you click on any of those affiliate links and make a purchase within a certain timeframe, Go With Grace will earn a small commission. The commission is paid by the retailers, at no cost to you.

Here’s an example: If we link to a children’s book about ‘talking about death’, and you click on that link and complete a purchase within the next 24 hours, we might receive a commission somewhere between 1 to 10 per cent of your total order.

We are careful to only link to products and retailers that we know and recommend. Money earned keeps Go With Grace running and allows us to bring you more content and resources to help start conversations or plan a loved ones farewell. Thank you for your support.

E-Commerce

We offer paid listing plans and advertising options within our Business Directory and content pages. In this case, we use a third-party service (Stripe) for payment processing.

We will not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to the payment processor whose use of your personal information is governed by their own Stripe Privacy Policy

If you have a privacy complaint

If you’re not satisfied with our response to any privacy-related concern you may have, you can contact the Privacy Commissioner: privacy.org.nz/about-us/contact/
