Tell us what you do
I’m an independent funeral director and the facilitator of Death Café Manawatū. Offering both professional funeral care and opportunities for our community to talk openly about death and grief.
Why you are involved in Dying Matters Week?
I’m involved in Dying Matters Week because I believe these conversations are too important to leave until crisis moments. Talking about death can feel uncomfortable, but when we do, it helps us live more fully, support one another better, and make choices that reflect what truly matters. By being part of this week, I hope to help normalise these discussions in our community and encourage open, respectful connection around end-of-life care, grief, and remembrance.
