Dying Matters Week 2026 is brought to you by Laura Sweetman Independent Funeral Director and the Palmerston North City Library 

This event connects people across Aotearoa to start conversations in a safe space, learn from local experts and seek support to plan for later life and end-of-life and to navigate grief and loss.

From Monday 7th to Sunday 13th September 2026, people can head along to the Palmerston North City Library to take part in activities including resources and information, a curated collection of books and resources on grief and dying, panel discussions with local experts and opportunities to drop in and chat.
