Interactive Community Artwork

Date: 7th – 12th September 2026
Time: 10am – 2pm daily
Venue: Outside Life Pharmacy, at the Woolworths end of NorthWest Shopping Centre

From 7–12 September, we are holding an interactive art display at NorthWest Shopping Centre as part of Dying Matters Week, with the aim of encouraging greater awareness and more open conversations around death, dying and what matters most to people.

As part of the project, we are inviting members of the public to share their hopes, dreams and aspirations for what they would like to achieve before they die.

They can contribute by drawing or writing on canvas in response to the prompt: “Before I die I want to…”

The completed artwork will form a community mural and will provide an opportunity for people to reflect on what is important to them and start conversations about life and death.
