Dr Elisabeth Price will introduce the Pōhutukawa Model, which she designed to support both proactive and reactive conversations about death, dying, bereavement and grief. The model provides a guide for trusted adults in a child’s life, with five dimensions: meaning and purpose; emotions and feelings; facts and processes; family and community; and land and place.
