Tea & Conversation

Date: 10/09/2026
Time: 10:00 am – 11:30 am
Venue: Gordon Prince Room, Avebury House, 9 Eveleyn Couzins Ave, Christchurch,

Join us for a relaxed morning of gentle conversation, connection, and a cuppa during Dying Matters Week.

This is not a session about death or funeral planning. Instead, it’s an opportunity to pause, connect with others, and explore what it means to live well, care for ourselves and one another, and have conversations about what matters most, at our own pace and in our own way.

Together we’ll gently reflect on topics such as living with purpose, ageing well, how we support one another through life’s changes, and how we can make things a little easier for those we love.

Whether you’re curious, looking for connection, or simply enjoy sharing a cup of tea with others, you’re warmly welcome.

Free to attend. Tea and light refreshments provided.

To help us plan for tea and seating, we’d love you to register your interest if possible by email to [email protected] You are also most welcome to just come along on the day.

*Please note: While this gathering may touch on topics of loss and change, it is not a grief counselling session. If you need one-to-one support, you are welcome to get in touch using the contact details above.
