Dying Matters Expo, Tawa, Wellington

Date: 12/09/2026
Time: 01:30 pm – 04:30 pm
Venue: Tawa Community Centre Hall, 5 Cambridge Street, Tawa

Join us in Tawa for the FREE Dying Matters Week Wellington Expo, a welcoming community event where you can explore, ask questions, and discover the many ways people are helping our communities navigate dying, death, grief, and bereavement. Whether you’re planning ahead, supporting someone you love, or simply curious to learn more, there’s something for everyone.

Meet a diverse range of people who are passionate about sharing their knowledge, services, products, lived experience, and ideas. Ever wondered what terramation is and why more people are talking about this environmentally conscious alternative? Curious about pet water cremation and the choices now available to honour our beloved animal companions? Or perhaps you’d like to learn about the beautiful role of Whakaahuru -The Gentle Singers, who offer comfort through song at the bedside, along with many other people, ideas, and services you may never have considered before.

Explore the stall holders below and start planning who you’d like to meet. We look forward to welcoming you to Tawa!
