Time: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

This workshop will introduce you to:

  • Funeral planning: Wills, Powers of Attorney, Advance Care Plans, Probate
  • Understanding essential vs non-essential options, including the legal requirements around paperwork
  • Care and transport of the body
  • When you need a coffin and when you don’t. Coffin alternatives
  • The pros and cons of cremation vs burial. New ecological methods
  • Steps to promote partnership with professional services and providers
  • Local info & community initiatives

Koha would be appreciated to cover cost of hall, tea & coffee.
Bring a journal to make notes, or a 65 page DIY funeral guide will be available for purchase on the day for $25.00
