Grief is a universal human experience, yet it is also deeply personal. It can be felt in ways that leave us feeling alone, even when others are around us. This is an opportunity to come together, support one another, and gently explore some of life’s deeper questions around what it means to live with grief. Kia ora, I’m Liz, a registered social worker, an end-of-life doula and host of Death Café, North Canterbury. As part of Dying Matters Week 2026, I am offering this one-off opportunity to further our conversations from Grief Walking over a hot cuppa and a scone – or to meet directly at the cafe at 11.30am. If this resonates with you, I warmly invite you to get in touch and see if this feels right for you at this time.
