Venue: The Swan Cafe and Bar
If you have a need to talk about death or dying for whatever reason and have difficulty finding open ears and minds to talk about it, share views and experiences with other like-minded people, you will find this group welcoming!
A Death Cafe meeting is a group directed conversation about all aspects of death and the process of dying, with no “experts”, agenda, objectives or themes. It provides an open forum for people to talk and share with others whatever clouds their minds or they can contribute about the subject, with no intention of leading participants to any conclusion, product or course of action.
We do this in an open, respectful and confidential space where people can express their views safely without any pressure of what or how much or little they share. Each meeting finds its own dynamics and morphs in different ways with laughter, sometimes tears, but always nourishing to the soul.
Our objective is to increase awareness of death as a normal part of life with a view to consciously make the most of it!
Space and time are limited which necessitates restriction of maximum attendance to 15 people. Therefore PLEASE PRE-REGISTER by replying with GOING (not “interested!) if you want to be sure of your space and do CANCEL if you can no longer attend as we may have someone on the waitlist.
