Chris’ Stage Four Cancer Journey
My name is Chris or Christine and I answer to both. I am 61 years young in the year 2025.
In October 2022, I was diagnosed with stage four terminal cancer. I was told without any treatment I would live somewhere between 3 to 6 months. After five months, I decided to do chemo and radiation with a 25% chance that they could save me. All it did was buy me some time. So I decided to do no further treatment. I am still here much to the surprise of Oncologists and Drs.
Before I leave this body, I want to share my journey with those who are struggling with what their bodies have become and are like me, preparing to say goodbye to their bodies, and to everything they have accumulated on their life’s journey, be it friends, family, pets, work etc.
As I write this, I weigh 50K which is very light for me. I’m not sure how much longer I have got, we think I may leave this body before Easter 2026 but I will get to enjoy Christmas 2025 with the help of some morphine.
I have learned a lot in the extra time that I have been given. I feel this extra time I have been given is for the purpose of sharing what I have learned. This information is not just for those who are going through something similar, but for those who are supporting us and for those who are watching from the side-lines. We all have to say goodbye at some stage and I hope these videos can help someone, somewhere, somehow on their journey. There are sad videos and happy videos because this is me sharing the real journey I have had and am still going through.
With much love
Chris
