Palmerston North

Welcome to Dying Matters Week Palmerston North.

Dying Matters Week is all about supporting people to start conversations, learn from experts, and feel empowered to put end-of-life planning in place to bring peace of mind to themselves and their loved ones.

The Palmerston North City Library is bringing Dying Matters Week events to Palmerston North. Head along to the library to take part in activities during August, including resources and information, a curated collection of books on grief and dying, panel discussions with local experts and opportunities to drop in and chat.

Laura Sweetman Independent Funeral Director and Aingie Miller, Doula and Celebrant are also organising a Death Planning Party at Boho Cafe. Join them for a Saturday tipple and some light-hearted end-of-life planning. A night of storytelling matched with a healthy dose of laughter, short presentations, personalising funerals, advanced care planning and more.
