Welcome to Dying Matters Week Palmerston North.
The Palmerston North City Library brought Dying Matters Week 2024 events to Palmerston North. Locals were invited to head along to the library to take part in activities during August, including resources and information, a curated collection of books on grief and dying, panel discussions with local experts and opportunities to drop in and chat.
Laura Sweetman Independent Funeral Director and Aingie Miller, Doula and Celebrant organised a Death Planning Party at Boho Cafe. A Saturday tipple and some light-hearted end-of-life planning, storytelling matched with a healthy dose of laughter, short presentations, personalising funerals, advanced care planning and more.
