Robin Lieffering will give a power-point presentation on the current End of Life Choice Act. Data from the practices of the law for the last two years will be shown to illustrate the successes of this law and the current failings and concerns.
In November this year the Act is due for review and Robin will clarify the areas creating failures for some people who choose to have an assisted death, not meeting the current requirements. She will also talk briefly about the possible future for people suffering from dementia.
