End-of-Life Planning Workshop for Silver Festival

In November 2023, we held an end-of-life planning workshop in conjunction with Whangārei District Council’s Silver Festival. The Silver Festival was a series of events to celebrate older adults and acknowledge their important role and contribution to the Whangārei District.

Go With Grace supports you to record and share important information and final wishes before you reach the end of your life. This gives you peace of mind that you are doing everything you can to help your family when you are gone, and also gives your family comfort that they are respecting and honouring your final wishes.

Our free 2 hour workshop began with an overview of the information available on the Go With Grace website, followed by help to set up and start recording end-of-life wishes. Attendees were able to share their own experiences around the death of a loved one, planning a farewell and how to start conversations with family about their own-end of life wishes.
