Welcome to Dying Matters Week Wellington.

End of Life Doula, Registered Nurse and co facilitator of the Hutt Valley Death Cafe, Melanie Humphries-Connolly is bringing Dying Matters Week to Porirua. This event is all about supporting people to start conversations, learn from experts, and feel empowered to put end-of-life planning in place to bring peace of mind to themselves and their loved ones.

Head along to the Porirua Library, to take part in activities from 5th to 11th August, including resources and displays, a curated collection of books on grief and dying, poetry and stories from the local community and opportunities to chat with Mel about end of life and palliative care.

Arapaki Library in central Wellington will also have books on grief and end of life planning brochures on display during the week.
