Wellington Events

Welcome to Dying Matters Week Wellington.

End of Life Doula, Registered Nurse and co facilitator of the Hutt Valley Death Cafe, Melanie Humphries-Connolly is bringing Dying Matters Week 2025 to Porirua and the greater Wellington region. While the majority of events are currently based in Porirua, there are a team of supporters working to organise events in Hutt Valley, Central Wellington and Kapiti.

Dying Matters Week is all about supporting people to start conversations, learn from experts, and feel empowered to put end-of-life planning in place to bring peace of mind to themselves and their loved ones.

2025 programme of events coming soon!
