Lucalia Photography: end-of-life family photography

Life is a collection of fleeting moments, and as we approach the end of our journey, these moments become even more valuable. I understand the significance of preserving memories during this tender time. That's why I offer end-of-life documentary photography sessions for families in the Aotearoa New Zealand. I am based in Nelson and will travel around the country to document end-of-life sessions. What are end-of-life photo sessions? End-of-life photography sessions document precious time spent together and celebrate life. They are designed for adults or children who have received a terminal diagnosis or are advancing in age and approaching the natural end of their life. These photos will be a lasting legacy for your family. The aim is to document precious time spent together whilst it is still here. From a heartfelt family gathering at home, to a peaceful walk in the park, or even a bittersweet hospital visit, I document natural moments between family members. Personal experience I bring personal experience and heart to my end-of-life sessions, having lost my dad as a child. Whilst my mum and I have photos, he was always the photographer. There are very few photos with the whole family present. One I do have is of all of us posed looking at the camera. It doesn't show the smiles, fun or love I remember my dad for. I would like to provide those for your family. If you would like to learn more about end-of-life documentary photography sessions, please feel free to contact me.
