Welcome to Dying Matters Week Wellington Central.

Dying Matters Week 2025 events in Central Wellington are brought to you by Alina Reed from Final Farewell and Mary Potter Hospice. This event connects people across Aotearoa to start conversations in a safe space, learn from local experts and seek support to get affairs in order and navigate grief or loss.

Throughout the week, Te Awe Brandon Library in Wellington will be displaying a curated selection of books about end-of-life, grief and loss.

2025 Programme of Events

Please use the form below to book free community events at the Tawa and Newlands Community Centres. To read more about each event, click on/hover over the info icon on the event tile.
