Your Story Matters: Capturing Life Stories & Memories for Future Generations Storytelling connects us. Storytelling is one of the oldest forms of communication known among humans. Stories are used to pass on knowledge and valuable information from one generation to the next. In this 45 minute story sharing session we’ll explore some life story questions together and discuss the importance of capturing our stories and memories for future generations. We’ll also cover simple tasks you can do to start capturing your own stories (or the stories of a loved one). Life story question cards At the end of the story sharing, if time permits I’ll share a couple of short clips from some life story videos that I’ve captured in my Moving Memories work.
