Dying Matters Week is a national event connecting people across Aotearoa to start conversations in a safe space, learn from local experts and seek support to get affairs in order and navigate grief or loss.
This year’s campaign is about empowering people of all ages to make informed, meaningful decisions for the future for themselves, and for those they care about.
If you would like to host, present at, or promote Dying Matters Week events, the resources below are for you to use on your website and social media pages to start promoting the 2026 campaign.

How to get involved in Dying Matters Week 2026
In many regions across Aotearoa New Zealand, established Dying Matters Week regional teams are available to support you in planning and promoting events in your area. Visit your region’s page to connect with local coordinators.
You can also choose to organise a one-off event independently and manage the logistics yourself. As long as your event aligns with the Dying Matters Week kaupapa, it can be featured on the regional pages of this website and promoted as part of the 2026 programme.

Logo Package
Each Dying Matters Week logo is available in: light horizontal; dark horizontal; light badge; dark badge, light vertical; dark vertical. Choose the logo which best fits your purpose, taking background colour and layout into consideration.
Brand Guidelines
Dying Matters Week brand guidelines provides a clear framework for how the event is visually presented. The file outlines the use of colours, typography, imagery, and layout to ensure all communications are recognisable, respectful, and aligned with the kaupapa of this event.
