Dying Matters Week Bay of Plenty
Dying Matters Week connects people across Aotearoa to start conversations in a safe space, learn from local experts and seek support to get affairs in order and navigate grief or loss.
Join us from Monday 7th to Sunday 13th September 2026 at local libraries and other community spaces in Tauranga and Rotorua. The programme includes: hands-on workshops and presentations from experts in end-of-life, grief and death-care, resources and information from local businesses, crematorium open days, curated collections of books on grief and dying, online events and podcasts, art and theatre, poetry and storytelling, DIY Funeral Workshops, Death Cafes and panel discussions.
