As an End-of-life Doula, I walk alongside dying people and their loved ones offering gentle guidance, practical support and compassionate care. My role is to help you feel safe, seen, informed and cared for. Together, we can soften fear, honour your wishes, and hold space for both heartbreak and hope.

Why you are involved in Dying Matters Week?

To inform and empower people and families, build capacity for community based palliative care and help reduce death phobia and funeral poverty.

Tell us about your 2025 Dying Matters Week Programme

Mangawhai’s first Dying Matters Week event included; a creative grief tending workshop, tips for Starting the Conversation and completing Advanced Care Plans, information on Wills & Legal Matters, introductions to Death Doulas, Shrouding, Natural burials and a tour of Mangawhai’s cemetery and natural burial grounds.  Find out more…
